Terms of Service

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Lumara. By creating an account or using this Platform in any way, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

We reserve the right to request age verification at any time and to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all associated data.

By enabling adult content features, you additionally confirm: (a) you are 18 or older; (b) adult content is legal in your jurisdiction; and (c) you are not accessing the Platform from a jurisdiction where such content is prohibited.

All characters on Lumara are entirely fictional. They are not real people, do not represent real people, and have no existence outside of this Platform. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

All depicted characters are adults aged 18 or older. The Platform does not permit, generate, or host any content depicting minors in sexual or romantic contexts. All character ages are explicitly adult by design.

AI companions do not have real feelings, real relationships, or real existence. Conversations are simulated using artificial intelligence. No actual romantic or intimate relationship is formed between users and AI characters.

• Adult roleplay and explicit conversations between consenting adult users and AI characters
• Fantasy scenarios, fiction, and creative storytelling of all kinds involving adult characters
• Custom character creation with any adult personality, appearance, or backstory
• Romantic, intimate, and explicit conversations with AI characters (on eligible plans)
• Voice conversations, image generation, and video clips within platform guidelines
• Community character sharing where all characters are explicitly adult (18+)

You agree NOT to use Lumara to:

• Generate sexual content involving minors or minor-presenting characters, regardless of fictional framing, stated age, or creative context (18 U.S.C. §2256, PROTECT Act 2003)
• Impersonate real people in sexual scenarios — sexual content depicting real named individuals without verified written consent
• Create non-consensual intimate content — content that depicts, glorifies, or approves of sexual violence or assault
• Attempt age reduction or age ambiguity — describing characters as minors, using minor-coded language, or creating scenarios that imply a character is under 18
• Use the Platform to dox, harass, or threaten real individuals
• Facilitate real-world violence — content designed to assist in planning or carrying out violence against real people
• Promote or instruct self-harm or suicide
• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal laws in your jurisdiction

Violations result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of any subscription fees, and may be reported to law enforcement. Three confirmed critical violations result in automatic permanent account ban.

All AI characters on Lumara are adults. When creating custom characters, you must not describe characters as minors, use minor-coded language, or create scenarios that imply a character is under 18. Characters must have an explicitly stated adult age.

Our automated moderation systems actively screen all content for minor-coded language. Violations result in immediate account termination with no refund.

Any character with an unspecified, ambiguous, or implied age is treated as prohibited. If age is unclear, the content is not permitted.

Lumara provides adult AI content for subscribers who verify they are 18 or older. Adult content is unlocked only after explicit age confirmation and is available exclusively on paid plans.

All characters are fictional adults. All depicted individuals are adults (18+). Content depicting minors in any sexual context is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

Lumara complies with the TAKE IT DOWN Act (Public Law 119-12). We will remove reported non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated NCII, within 48 hours of a valid takedown request.

Your notice must include: a description of the content and where it appears on our Platform; confirmation that you did not consent to its creation or distribution; and your contact information for follow-up.

Your notice must include:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content on our Platform
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and remove infringing content where appropriate. See also our full DMCA Policy.

Violations of these Terms will result in: immediate account suspension pending review; permanent account termination for serious violations; forfeiture of any subscription fees paid; reporting to law enforcement and relevant authorities where required by law.

Three confirmed critical violations result in automatic permanent account ban. Accounts banned for critical violations are reported to our legal team for review and may be reported to NCMEC.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. LUMARA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate. You use the Platform at your own risk.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Lumara LLC is incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Delaware, United States, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

You waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action lawsuit. You may not bring claims as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent unauthorized use or other misappropriation of intellectual property rights.

If you are located in the European Union, this arbitration clause does not apply to you to the extent it conflicts with applicable EU law.

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email where possible. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
